| Church of St. David of Wales – 324
West Cedar Street
This one-story building was built n 1948 and is one of best
examples of Tudor Revival architecture in Shelton. It is the
only church building of this style in Mason County. The exterior
is clad in “clinker bricks” with a covered porch
having a decorated brick canopy with an arched opening and
stepped coping and inscribed panel reading “Saint David’s
Episcopal Church”. There are stained glass windows throughout
the structure and a steep pitched gable and hipped shake roof.
A solid bell tower with arched open bell cote topped with
a copper roof and spire project above the main entry door.
The building was placed on the Shelton Historic Register in
January of 1998.
